Sample Acceptance Policy
The laboratory may not accept samples for testing if they do not meet the following criteria:
• Samples arrive with a complete Chain of Custody (CoC) specifying at the minimum: client name and contact information; sample identification, sampling location, date and time(s); and requested test methods.
• Samples arrive to the laboratory intact, without sample sorbent missing or dislodged.
• Samples arrive to the laboratory within reasonable time to be analyzed before the holding time expiration.
• Sample tubes contain sample volume as required by selected method(s).
If any of these requirements are not met, the samples may be put on hold and the client will be contacted for further directions. Deviations may result in the inability to report analysis.
