Fugitive emissions are air emissions not released through an exhaust stack, vent, pipe, or any other controlled air stream in refinery operations or chemical plants. These emissions are often the result of gas leaks, evaporative processes, or spills from building ventilation systems. Prism mobilizes an FTIR (Fourier Transform-Infrared) spectrometer in the field to collect and analyze data from these fugitive emissions in real-time to assure compliance with environmental regulations. Our experienced dedicated field staff can assist with your field-testing projects.
