Designed to support IAQ certification in Green Buildings, this analysis is also an excellent screening tool for homes and offices where mold is not a primary concern. GreenScan provides a low cost survey of LEED compounds and common solvents. Coupled with the analysis, however, is the collection of sufficient data to perform complete MoldScan and a full 350+ compound TDT Air Scan analyses. If the reported TVOC level is below the required 500ug/M³ or any excursions can be reconciled with the reported solvent data, then there is no need for additional analytical work. However, if the target TVOC level is exceeded and cannot be explained, a full Air Scan analysis and/or a full MoldScan analysis can be requested for an additional charge. There is no need to take another sample and, since the TVOC level is known, it is known ahead of time that the results from the additional analysis will be useful in identifying the specific compounds causing the TVOC to be too high.
