IAQ Protocol
A Strategy for Addressing IAQ Issues
CleaningThe new Protocol was developed to provide guidance in conducting indoor air qualitiy investigations pertaining to IAQ complaints, fire or water events, and renovations (a chemical release section is currently under development). The Protocol was a joint effort between pati and Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S L.L.C.). Following the steps given in the Protocol provides no certainty that the results or outcome will lead to a successful conclusion. It is intended to be used only as a guidance tool.

Additional reference documents are listed at the end of the Protocol. Users are encouraged to familiarize themselves with guidance publications currently available. This is the introductory version. We openly invite comments and suggestions. To fully utilize all of the features available in this Protocol it is suggested that you use Microsoft Power Point version 2002. Certain features may be lost using older versions of Microsoft Power Point. All .pdf linked files were created using Adobe Acrobat 5.0. It is suggested that you update to the current Adobe Acrobat Reader if you are experienceing trouble uploading the linked .pdf files.
